Burnt and decomposing body parts of the victims who lost their lives in a plane crash which rocked the town recently, still lie under the baking sun.
A complaint was received from a resident who lives nearby, that pieces of decomposing flesh, including skull and jaw fragments, were allegedly still to be cleared away.
The complainant said the matter had been reported to local authorities, but nothing had been done.
“By now the jackals have probably taken away the remaining pieces,” he speculated.
Questions regarding the crash remain unanswered, and media enquiries have been redirected a number of times.
Finally, National Department of Transport Communications Officer, Sam Monareng was contacted, but has yet to reply to enquiries.
