Top jukskei players to battle it out in Durban

The winners will represent KZN at the top schools jukskei competition in Pretoria in December.

The Umzinyathi District jukskei eliminations were recently held at Dundee Junior School, and the following teams were selected to represent the Umzinyathi District in the KZN provincial eliminations to determine the best school jukskei teams in KZN:
Boys U/14 jukskei players from DJS: Ruan van Reenen, Siphelele Hlongwane (captain), Nzuzo Mhlongo, Langa Mthombeni, Mvelo Sibisi and Henko van Reenen (coach).


Girls U/14 from DJS: Amanda Mazibuko, Snegugu Zwane, Andile Mbatha, Sne Memela (captain), Sne Khumalo and Sophie Mncwango (coach). Boys U/19 from Sarel Cilliers High School: Sko Dlamini (captain), Alfred Mthethwa, Lusanda Nyanda, Thando Mncube, Senzo Mncube, Sanele Khambule (coach) and Leon Lombard (manager).


The girls’ U/19 team still needs to be finalised. The above learners will travel to Durban on October 3 to compete against the best school jukskei teams from the other districts, and the winners will represent KZN at the top schools jukskei competition in Pretoria in December.
