ML Sultan Colenso Primary’s Dancing Pencils Club participated in the Umsinsi Press Book Launch held in Durban on September 7. Umsinsi Press is the vehicle for printing the works of writers of the Dancing Pencils Literary project.
The Dancing Pencils initiative unearths, nurtures and grows the talent in a writer.
Under the mentorship of Miss YO Jamal who has continuously been encouraging these young children to use their creativity and writing skills to write their own stories, the Dancing Pencils Club publishes their third successive story book. Well done to these learners and their teacher for this outstanding accomplishment. We certainly expect greater things from these young and budding writers in the future.
