Eidetic Home Studio, run by Mariette Buys, is hosting a competion aimed at the appreciation of photography. Fun and joy is the theme, and categories include anyone within the age group of newborn to 25 years and the most loving couple, which includes all ages.
Impartial judges from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Harpbeespoot will judge material online and will distinguish winners using the following criteria: Overall appearance and the ability to portray different facial expressions (happy, sad, cute, fun etc.)
Entrance fees will be R150 and a pair or more of any type of shoe per entrant. The much needed shoes will be collected as part of the entrance fee, and will be donated to oSizweni Handycraft Centre in Newcastle.
Entrants will be required to have a photoshoot done by Eidetic Home Studio which will consist of five photos. Each contestant will receive an A4 printed collage showcasing all five photos.
The competition is currently open and will close on October 30. Winners will be announced on November 10. Prizes will consist of photoshoots to the value of R800, and much more.
After the competition, parents and contestants can collect their A4 printed collage from Eidetic.
