Women’s circle strikes again

Members of Newcare Women’s Circle have once again come forward with a donation to Khulisa Social Solutions, accompanied with toys, food items and clothing.

The donation comes in line with their current focus of uplifting underprivileged children in rural areas. In the coming year the circle intends to reach out and lend a hand primarily to handicapped children.

Chairperson, Jasmine Roy, chose to do the donation in a time auspicious to the Hindu religion. Pitr Paksha, during which charitable actions are encourage, is currently being observed by Hindus all around the world.

Khulisa’s representative, Nondumiso Cele, thanked Jasmine Roy and the members of Newcare for their contribution.

“The donations we receive from our fruitful relationship with the women’s circle are very helpful; we really appreciate the mothers of the community giving back to the

community,” she praised.
