Aliteric Kalicharan is a teenager who is determined to take the fashion world by storm.
The 15-year-old is looking at designing and launching his own fashion collection in the not too distant future.
“I used to watch television and shows on couture and at first it never interested me, but then I started helping friends with their gowns and dresses,” Aliteric said.
From there, the fashion bug bit him, and his passion for fashion has him reaching for the stars.
“The first step is launching your brand, which I will be doing shortly. I have recently had my line registered and now I am getting my brand launched and putting a collection together,” he said.
Fashion is never stagnant and ever-changing and this is what makes Alteric’s blood rush.
“Couture wear is always changing with the season and when you look at people on the red carpet, the designers really get appreciated,” he enthused.
Furthermore, being able to visualise what would look good on people also appealed to him.
“When I finish matric, I intend to do my Masters in Fashion. I really have a passion for couture wear and designing and I don’t want to let the opportunity to go past,” he concluded.
