With the annual Mighty Men Crusade (MMC) set to take place from October 10 to October 12, men from in and around KwaZulu-Natal are invited to join in a weekend of worship.

The theme of this year’s conference is, Do you make a difference in the desert?

The purpose of the somewhat cryptic question is to encourage men critically assess the way they live their lives. Summed up, the question is simply, Do you make a difference?

There is a factual scenario behind the theme of the crusade. “At some point in time, everybody feels like they have been deserted emotionally, financially or spiritually. How you react either makes you a man of might or a man who chooses to give flight. Putting your trust in God and never losing faith or hope are the key principles we hope to instil in both men and women,” said MMC KZN organiser, Pieter Le Grange.

“I choose to trust in the power of God, rather than the power of others. I live according to the ideal that people should be a part of the solution rather than the problem,” said Mr Le Grange.

The MMC will be held at Southern Cross Farm, Mooi River where speakers Simon Hemsley, Otto Clasen and Mondli Myeza will put the faith of their fellow worshippers to the ultimate test.

“By the end of a jam-packed weekend, we hope guests will leave with the answers they need and strive to become better versions of themselves, looking to Christ in every aspect of their daily life,” concluded Mr Le Grange.

Entrance to the crusade is free. For more information on the Mighty Men Crusade, visit www.mmc-kzn.co.za
