MEMBERS of the Vryheid ‘Skaapkopgilde’ have done their bit to prove that the Vryheid farming community is a generous one.
Recently funds were raised and collected by the guild and handed over to Inkanyiso Special School in Vryheid and Vryheid Hospice. Representatives from each organisation met with farmers and members of the guild on Friday, August 22, at the Farmer’s Hall in Vryheid to accept these charitable donations. As well as a generous cash donation to each organisation, Inkanyiso Special School was also presented with tools and equipment which will be beneficial to the work skills instruction provided by the school.
