Challenging men to serve Christ

The MMC will be held at Southern Cross Farm, Mooi River where speakers Simon Hemsley, Otto Clasen and Mondli Myeza will put the faith of their fellow worshippers to the ultimate test.

With the annual Mighty Men Crusade (MMC) set to take place from October 10 to October 12, men from in and around KwaZulu-Natal are invited to join in a weekend of worship.

The MMC will be held at Southern Cross Farm, Mooi River where speakers Simon Hemsley, Otto Clasen and Mondli Myeza will put the faith of their fellow worshippers to the ultimate test.

“The MMC meetings are designed to empower men to stand up for what is right in this world. I organised my first men’s meeting in 2011. The Lord instructed me to challenge men to serve and support God with the same enthusiasm as they support their favourite rugby team. I received a lot of resistance due to the controversial nature of my message,” said MMC KZN organiser, Pieter Le Grange.

The aim of the crusade is to reach men throughout KwaZulu-Natal irrespective of their race, creed or church denomination. The theme of this year’s conference is, Do you make a difference in the desert?

“I am thankful to God for the calling and giving a simple man like myself the chance to share with others what I have learnt through Him,” concluded Mr Le Grange.
