Bloom Marketing gives back to under resourced crèche

The campaign involved a weekly selection of different themes to celebrate and honour Mandela’s legacy.

The children of Intuthuko Crèche were smiling from ear to ear as their school received somewhat of a makeover by Bloom Marketing on August 6.

The oSizweni-based crèche is the latest recipient of Bloom Marketing’s Mandela Month campaign which began in July. The campaign involved a weekly selection of different themes to celebrate and honour Mandela’s legacy.

Like many township crèches, Intuthuko Crèche has extremely limited resources. The donations from Bloom Marketing provided the children with necessary equipment for entertainment, growth and development. The crèche was equipped with signs, a jungle gym, painted murals, swings, slides, footballs, toys, dolls and puzzles. Bloom Marketing also donated mattresses and blankets to make naptime at the crèche a lot more comfortable.

The crèche hosted Bloom Marketing staff members and great excitement was felt at the handover. Bloom Marketing also donated equipment to a primary school in oSizweni. Both contributions amounted to around R100 000.

As their Mandela Month campaign concludes, the founder and managing director of Bloom Marketing, Nokuthula Luthuli, begins another campaign called the 40/40 campaign. Ms Luthuli who turned 40 on August 9, will be delivering 40 motivational talks at 40 schools around KwaZulu-Natal throughout Women’s Month. The campaign aims to inspire and motivate change among young girls. Bloom Marketing wishes Ms Luthuli well with her campaign.
