Large parts of Glencoe were without power this morning leave residents cold and frustrated.

Sithembile and the town area were powerless but the Glenridge and prison areas were not affected.

Mark Donaldson Acting Manager Technical Services said ‘there are MV jumpers burned off at the turn-off to Sithembile that the electrical department are busy repairing .’
