Paramedics involved in collision

It is believed ER24 paramedics have been involved in an accident on the N11 near the Utrecht turn off.

Circumstances surrounding the incident are murky, however  reports indicate two vehicles have smashed into the back of the ambulance.

The incident occurred while paramedics were attending another accident, after a car rolled. It was reported the occupants only sustained minor injuries.

The paramedics are stable, while the condition of the occupants of the vehicles involved, is unknown.

Roadway is possibly affected in both directions. SAPS officials are also on scene.
