The Coetzee family of Treverton over the last six-months have become very familiar with university graduations.
First, it was daughter Lauren who graduated with a B.A. Psychology Hons. Degree in Cape Town.
The next member of the family to graduate was son James who was awarded a B.Com from the University of Pretoria. The final was in May, when mum, Mandy, not only graduated but also received her Bachelor in Business Administration CUM LAUDE from the University of South Africa.
For Mandy, this was a stunning achievement, together with being a wife and mother she is employed on a full time basis as the Debtors Controller in Treverton’s Executive Admin Centre.
Noel Coetzee who is father of Old Trevertonians Lauren and James and husband to Mandy is Treverton’s Executive Head and has a MBA.
Mandy was not the only member of the Executive Admin staff who has been burning the midnight oil, improving their qualifications.
Sonette van Zuydam, Creditors Controller was awarded her B.Com. Hons. by UNISA.
Like Mandy, in addition to her career, she is also a wife and mother. In 2013, she shared the double pressure of studying for exams as her daughter Soné was writing matric. Sonette took two years to complete her degree part-time.
