Second car to crash through fence

Whether you are superstitious or not, it sure is 'strange' that two accidents with similar circumstances in the same area took place just hours apart on the full moon night of this Friday the 13th

A vehicle crashed through a fence in Fairclough Road, not far from where a car ploughed through a wooden fence earlier this evening (Friday).

A blue Nissan and a black Toyota were involved, but no one was injured in the accident. The Nissan went off the road and into a garden, crashing through a chicken wire fence.

Public Safety and SAPS were on scene. Both drivers underwent breathalyzer tests, administered by a Public Safety officer. The driver of the Toyota tested negative, while the driver of the Nissen tested under the legal limit.

The owner of the property whose yard the Nissan crashed into said that, “I was just eating my supper inside when I heard a loud bang. At first, I thought it was just a passing truck, but our dog was barking, and my wife and I could hear voices. I went outside and I couldn’t believe it! A few years ago, another car also crashed into my property, but that car has very badly damaged. This road is very busy and they need to put up speed humps.”

There is also raw sewage all over the road.

Whether you are superstitious or not, it sure is ‘strange’ that two accidents with similar circumstances in the same area took place just hours apart on the full moon night of this Friday the 13th. Those at the scene do not believe that the date had anything to do with what happened here tonight.
