We reported last week on a sewerage spill at the Paddadam at the end of Park Street, during which thousands of litres of raw sewerage poured from a manhole and ran into the Paddadam, and ultimately into Klipfontein Dam. It would seem that by Wednesday last week the blockage that caused the overflow had been removed. Sewerage was no longer flowing, but a crust of sewerage solids, seen in the picture, had formed making visits to this popular recreational area impossible.
