Hockey fever grips Biggarsberg

Biggarsberg Primary is proud to announce that the following boys were chosen for the KZN inland hockey teams: Lindokuhle Mazibuko (U/ 13A) will be going to Bloemfontein for the National Hockey Tournament; Nqubeko Mngomezulu and Mlungisi Cele (U/13B) and Mpumelelo Makhoba (U/13C) will be going to Pretoria; and Ntokozo Ntuli and Olwethu Mazibuko (U/12A) will be going to Witbank for their hockey tournaments.
Rugby fever has also taken hold of Biggarsberg Primary’s boys. Mr Sokhela, one of the newly-appointed educators, is the rugby coach and will be assisted by Mrs Symons as the assistant coach.
During 2013 Biggarsberg Primary School celebrated 20 years of quality learning and teaching.
The following staff members became part of the Biggarsberg team during 1993, and have contributed to the smooth running of the school: Miss LA Burger, Principal; Mrs M du Plessis, Deputy Principal; Mrs C du Plooy, Senior Educator; Mrs H Armstrong, financial secretary; and Miss J Shabalala, cleaner.
Mrs C Lötter and Mrs M Pieters celebrated 20 years of dedicated teaching during the first half of 2014. Staff and learners at Biggarsberg Primary salute you all!
