They also had a ‘sokkie’ that evening.

Holi – The festival of colours

CONGRATULATIONS to Pieter Keeve and Devan Aspden who were selected to play for the KZN Country District u/18 team.
They will be representing our province in Worcester, playing rugby for the KZN Academic side in the July holiday. They will be playing a match against the Pumas from Mpumalanga. Well done boys!

Our band performed at the farewell function of the matron of the hospital. We were well received, our music much appreciated and we thank the organisers for this opportunity to perform and for the treats we received afterwards.

On Thursday, May 29, a very successful music evening was held at Michaelis Kirche, Vryheid.
The funds raised will go towards the Northern KZN Youth Choir’s tour to Europe. We know that the evening was an uplifting celebration of Ascension Day.
Our thanks to all the parents, choirs and musicians involved.
VHS choir will treasure this evening as one of their best performances of 2014.

VHS played against Ladysmith High on Saturday, May 31. The pupils had great fun preparing for these matches. Although the competition was challenging, most netball teams won and the first and second rugby teams played very hard games, but were still victorious.
