The Ladysmith Aerodrome was packed today, as spectators arrived in their hundreds to see the spectacular Ladysmith Airshow, brought to town by the KZN Winter Air Tour.
An array of airplanes put on action-packed performances that included breathtaking tricks and stunts. Entrance to the show was free, and the grounds were full of people of all ages who turned up to see the first airshow in over a decade in this town.
Some families even brought along picnic baskets and blankets to enjoy the day to the maximum.
