Voters make their mark in Acaciavale

Other voting stations were busy, with long lines of voters happily anticipating their chance to make a difference in the leadership of the country

Voters made their way to voting stations in the Acaciavale area yesterday (Wednesday) to make their mark.

Short queues were the order of the day at ML Sultan Primary School, as the majority of people were registered to vote elsewhere in the area.

Other voting stations were busy, with long lines of voters happily anticipating their chance to make a difference in the leadership of the country.

After the voting, people showed their marked thumbs at Wimpy to qualify for a free cup of coffee with family and friends.

Now it’s a matter of waiting until all the votes are tallied to see the overall outcome.

Preliminary results point to a convincing ANC victory, with the DA in a distant second.
