Minibus accident claims one life

One person was left dead and another eight seriously injured when a minibus was involved in an accident on the Wasbank road.
Paramedics from the Dundee KZN Emergency Medical Services base responded to and found that a minibus had been involved in a collision.
According to the paramedics, the minibus with 12 people on board had overturned.
When the medics started to assess the patients they found that of the 12 people on board, one person had already died, another eight people had sustained serious injuries and amazingly three people were not injured at all.
The police and RTI officers managed the scene while the team of paramedics, treated the patients for their injuries. The patients were then transported to Dundee hospital.
The cause and the circumstances leading up to the accident are still being investigated.
