Massive manhunt for murderers

Police are on the lookout for murderers.

A massive manhunt has been launched by Dannhauser police for the murderers of a taxi owner who was shot in a drive-by last week.
The taxi owner and Chairperson of Masambisane Taxi Association, Gordon Gaba Mpofu, was traveling with another male passenger when a passenger in a vehicle following them opened fire. Mr Mpofu was rushed to Madadeni Hospital before he was transferred to Grey’s.
He sadly passed away from his injuries on April 11.
The passenger’s name has been withheld to protect his identity. Police said Mr Mpofu was shot several times in his head and upper body.
He will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 17. No arrests have yet been made, and police investigations continue. Anyone with information which could lead to arrests and convictions is asked to contact the Dannhauser Detectives on 034 621 6500.
