NFP questions ANC division

Many questions raised by the NFP in the run up to the elections.

The National Freedom Party (NFP) has questioned the apparent divisions between ANC councillors and their own, which is in contradiction of the memorandum of understanding signed by the two parties.
Deputy Mayor TB Mkhize, who is the lone NFP Councillor at Endumeni, said, “One group of ANC councillors continues to work with the NFP in terms of the memorandum of understanding, while the other group works with the DA.
“All service delivery is at risk of collapsing, because the ANC ‘rebel group’ (as called by the media), together with the DA, is attempting to bring the municipality to a standstill. We, the NFP, call upon the Provincial ANC to clarify whether there is a working relationship between the ANC and the DA.
“Until such clarity has been obtained, uncertainty will continue to prevail at Endumeni Municipality,” Councillor Mkhize said.
