Sarel Cilliers’ first team had a very successful rugby tour at Felixton College Rugby Festival in Richards Bay over the past long weekend. They played three matches.
During the first one against Eshowe, Sarel showed that they are the team to beat at the festival when they won 66-0 with the game being stopped early. Then they played Uplands College from Nelspruit, showing excellent running rugby and winning 29-0. After this nobody wanted to play against Sarel, and the organisers arranged a strong Barbarian side to play Sarel in the final match of the day. Sarel won this match 40-6 in strong wind, which made it difficult for running rugby. Well done boys, you made
the school proud, on and off the field.
