The organised crime unit is searching for five men responsible for the bombing of an ATM at the Annieville Mall last week.
It is alleged that the five men entered the premises in the early hours of the morning, two of them drawing their guns on the security guards. They then took one of the guard’s firearms before ordering them to lie down. The other suspects were busy bombing the ATM at the same time.
The suspects fled in two motor vehicles, one of them a green Toyota Corolla. They were not able to obtain any money from the ATM, but did get away with one of the guard’s firearms. Anyone with information is urged to please contact the Dannhauser SAPS on 034 621 6500 or 086 001 0111.
