Ladies take a stand against abuse

ON MONDAY, November 25, Child Welfare Vryheid hosted a fun run/walk in support of the '16 Days of Activism' campaign against the abuse of women and children.

As is often the case, the turn out was very good, and a large number of Vryheid's residents turned up to support this worthy cause, as well as to get a bit of early evening exercise.

The starting point was at Dee's Restaurant, and a designated route was followed by the enthusiastic entrants, until the conclusion of the run/walk, which was also at Dee's Restaurant.
