Deadly accident near Ultra City
According to Alpha Control Centre, one person died on scene, six people sustained critical injuries and 57 passengers were treated minor injuries.
Tragedy unfolded on the N3 this morning.
One person was killed while scores of others were left injured after a rear end collision between a bus and a truck on the southbound near the Frere off-ramp.
The accident was reported to Alpha Control Centre at 3.30am on Friday and when emergency services arrived on scene, they found that the bus that collided into the back of the truck.
64 passengers were inside the bus at the time of the accident.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said that together with provincial paramedics, the injured were stabilised and transported to various hospitals.
