The 6th annual Fibre Fair is calling on all handcrafting enthusiasts.
The fair seeks to create awareness of all the “old skills” that many still practice today. It is also an excellent opportunity for crafters to sell their wares.
Anyone that wishes to show off their skills ,are also welcome. The driving force behind this fair is to promote as many natural fibres as possible, so that all weavers, lace makers, quilters, knitters, embroiderers, spinners, crocheters, fabric painters, natural fibre dyers and tapestry artists can do their bit to lessen their carbon footprint.
The 6th Annual Fibre Fair will be held on Saturday, May 3 at the Wakkerstroom NG Church, a truly beautiful setting for the event.
