Learners make their school proud

This competition is held every year, and Sebenzakusakhanya has showed great enthusiasm and improvement within the competition

Sebenzakusakhanya Secondary School competed in the ‘My Life, My Future’ competition, with this year’s theme entitled ‘My Education Comes First’.

This competition is held every year, and Sebenzakusakhanya has showed great enthusiasm and improvement within the competition. Students representing the school in Durban on October 4 brought back home a trophy as well as the Peer Educators’ Certificate, as they took third place in the competition.

They also represented the Umzinyathi District. They also won the story-telling category. In this competition students represent their findings on the chosen topic in the form of posters, postcards or telling a story where they identify a problem, its causes and possible solutions.

Another prize that the school won was a laptop in the district level of the competition, held at a bush camp earlier in the year.
