Local producers debut a new film

ENGLISH or Engrish is the new film produced by Vryheid’s very own Sandile Shange and Bonginkosi Mkhonza.

This Zulu comedy, with English subtitles is about a security guard that applies for a job as an interpreter for the Tourism Department. With only a standard 2 as his highest qualification, this young man finds it very difficult to prepare for the interview of this job he so desperately wants.
The film sets out to teach people about the importance of believing in themselves and the importance of learning English as it is the medium of instruction in South Africa.
The film will be debuted on Channel 161(Mzansi magic) on Thursday, October 24.
