Since taking over as the Head of Treverton’s Equestrian Centre Daneen Schallen, has attracted more enthusiastic riders and has developed a busy competitive schedule.

During the third term, Treverton held a Spring Training, Show Jumping and Jump Cross show, which attracted 135 entries.

Most of the Treverton pupils participated in the show, many for the first time in competitive events. Treverton’s Jessica George won the Championship class 90 – 1.00 m class.

Six Treverton Riders competed at Discovery SA Eventing Championships.

Treverton entered a team of five-riders and who came fourth overall, an outstanding feat as all the other teams consisted of adults who have had many years of experience.

Emma Anderson once again won the Pony Riders Eventing 70. Next term the Equestrian Centre will be holding their annual Christmas Show, which will be a fancy dress dressage show. There are also plans to host an Arena Eventing show and if time permits a show jumping show. There is also fun time at the centre, which revolves around Friday afternoon, which is a free day to ride and go on outrides, riding bareback or just chilling with their horses and ponies. So there is a lot of laughter and activity.
