Watch: Are you a shallow person who judges a person by how they look?

This video is an eye-opener and you will never look at someone the same again!

I watched this video and thought to myself, “How often do we judge people without actually listening?”

It also got me thinking, “Do people judge me before I have said a word?”

I know I am guilty of judging others, although I try not to, but I never gave a second thought to the fact that they might be judging me as well.

Please watch the video, as it truly is eye-opening. It has a whopping 18 million views on YouTube, but (as always) be warned, it is data intensive.

The blurb

With social media video an increasing focus of marketing strategies and communication efforts, Coca-Cola tapped into this popularity to great success.

In 2015, the mega brand launched a global campaign to combat prejudice based on personal appearance through a video spread via their social media channels. Coca-Cola invited a group of very physically different people to a completely dark Ramadan Iftar (a breaking of the fast) and filmed the experience.

While the lights were off, the participants spoke, conversed and answered questions, and when the lights finally came on, it was to great surprise!
