Local artist lends his creativity to World Cup debate

The Rugby World Cup in Japan has gripped the attention of a Glencoe pub and its patrons.

With the Springboks due to face Wales on Sunday, in the second semi-final of the Rugby World Cup in Japan, everyone wants to have their say… None more so than the sports lovers at The Lone Star Pub in Glencoe.

Kieran Raggoo has produced his comment in the form of a cartoon. He said he and friends had great fun coming up with something creative while watching the Springboks/Japan quarter-final last Sunday.

“We normally watch football but the Rugby World Cup has attracted all our attention and we are sure the Boks will win through,” commented Kieran.

Should New Zealand overcome England in the first semi-final on Saturday, the stage will be set for another classic South Africa versus All Black final.
