Vryheid cyclists fly the national flag for Frances

The 3Reserves MTB Race took place in Swaziland this weekend. The race route going through 3 game reserves in the area. Conditions were hot and dusty with max temperature on the day being 40 degrees Celsius. Vis Pretorius won the race with Vlam de Beer from Vryheid coming in 4th overall. Sandra Haywood won the race on the ladies side and would like to thank Hannes van Staden for his support on the bike. Laiken Pretorius was 3rd lady. Martin “kramp- n- bietjie” Schoeman also had a good race finishing just behind Sandra. Well done to Dr Jabu Xulu, Leon and Mariska de Villiers for finishing the 73km. Mark de Klerk and Andrea de Beer did the 43km. Vryheid cyclists stood with the SA Flag showing their support for Vryheid cyclist, Frances Janse van Rensburg representing SA in England this week.
