Movember: Grow your ‘mo’ for men’s health

It's been themed: 'Stop men dying too young', too many men don't talk, don't take action and as a result die young

It’s that time of the year again when Movember is upon us.Movember happens every November.

It’s an annual event, which encourages men to grow their moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such prostate and testicular cancer, poor mental health, suicide, physical inactivity and many more issues that affect men.

This year the campaign is in its 12th year and has now become a global movement. It’s been themed: ‘Stop men dying too young’, too many men don’t talk, don’t take action and as a result die young.

The Movember Foundation wants to change this, with your help. You are encouraged to be loud and proud about men’s health.

The Movember campaign aims to change the stigma around male-related illnesses, by creating awareness of these conditions, without the fear of being judged.
