Vulintaba introduces newest facility

NEWCASTLE – Vulintaba Country Estate’s latest facility is set to potentially change Newcastle’s economy for the better.

The Vulintaba Country Hotel was officially launched on Saturday during an extravagant function.

The day was started with invited guests playing a round of golf on the establishment’s scenic golf course.

After a peaceful day on the greens, guests gathered at the new hotel, which is now officially in business.

“I have tried to climb Mount Everest, but I am more proud of this than of my attempt at Mount Everest,” beamed Nico Oosthuizen, owner of the Ni-Da group.

When the Ni-Da group purchased Vulintaba, plans were made to build a hotel. After extensive planning and work, they were realised.

“Construction started three years ago, and we initially planned for 49 rooms. However, after two years into the work, we decided to go full out and built 69 rooms and three suites.”

The four-star facility offers guests the ideal getaway, and Mr Oosthuizen has big dreams for the establishment, which is why he partnered with Forever Resorts to manage the hotel.

“I decided to go with Forever Resorts as they have the necessary experience, running hotels across the country. With the Ni-Da group investing in the hotel, we are hoping to draw on Forever Resorts’ experience to draw international tourists. This will not only benefit the tourism industry in Newcastle, but will offer us the opportunity to create more jobs as we roll out further facilities here,” Mr Oosthuizen explained.
