Vryheid Athletic Club would like to thank each and every person who took part in the club’s ‘Back to School Fun-Run’. Thank you for the community’s generous hearts. Stationery was donated to Zandile Ntombela from Inkanyiso Special School.
The club committee would also like to thank Ingrid Klingenberg and her staff from Remedia Pharmacy, all the marshals who helped on the road, KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services, Theo Jordaan from Pick n Pay, and Wesson Bio Bites, as well as the AbaQulusi Traffic Department.

Men’s 2.5km:
First place – Solethu Zulu;
Second place – PJ du Toit; and
Third place – Tobias Theron.
Ladies’ 2.5km:
First place – Ava du Toit;
Second place – Hlengiwe Mthethwa; and
Third place – Nokulunga Shongwe.
Men – 5km:
First place – Sipho Nanbe;
Second place – Diana Grobbler; and
Third place – Moruti Ntholnge.
Ladies – 5km:
First place – Thandiwe Khanyue;
Second place – Sandiswa Mdlalose; and
Third place – Diane Gunter.
Men – 7.5km:
First place – Mbonowenkosi Sangweni;
Second place – Robert Msimango; and
Third place – Bhekinkos Mbata.
Ladies – 7.5km:
First place – Leone Smit;
Second place – Khyi Shangwe; and
Third place – Andriette Huyser.
