Happy Hearts Football Club (FC) from the KwaHlathi area are the new champions of the Mgobhozi Tournament Top 4.
The tournament was held at the Kandahar Avenue sports grounds last Sunday (June 18).
The four teams participating were Happy Hearts, Amadlobongela, Super Hunters and Barcelona.

On their way to the final, Happy Hearts beat Barcelona FC to meet Super Hunters, who in turn had won their match against Amadlobongela.
The final was hotly-contested and evenly-matched, with neither team giving an inch. The score-line remained 0-0 until the final whistle blew at the end of the 90 minutes. The match was then decided by the dreaded penalty shoot-out, with Happy Hearts ending up victorious.
As champions, Happy Hearts walked away with R7000, soccer kit, a trophy and medals. The runners-up received R3000 and soccer kit.
This tournament comprises different stages. The Top 40 is played in December, the Top 8 on Good Friday and the Top 4 in June.
