Rookdale claims three ‘away’ points
This week's games will mark halfway through the season
Rookdale Football Club (FC) from Bergville claimed a crucial three points ‘away from home’ on Sunday (January 22) when they faced Watersmeet United.
The game was played at Settlers Park and ended 3-1 in favour of the visiting team (Rookdale).
The sweltering heat didn’t make things easy for the players and the game had to be stopped several times for a much-needed water break to keep the footballers hydrated.
