Moths golf day is a swinging success

Estcourt Golf Club played host to the annual Lord Allenby Shellhole (Moths) competition on Saturday (October 15). The 54-player field thoroughly enjoyed the scramble drive format, and much-needed funds were raised.

Each player was rewarded for their efforts on the golf course and was provided with a delicious supper, courtesy of the Moths.

Winners, on a well-played score of 123 points, were Jeremy, Adrian and Nikki Brown, and Jay Freese.

In second on a score of 111 points (count-out) were Ajeesh and Yadav Lalparsad, Dr Gordon Chotu and Deejay Ramdhav. In third, also on 111 points, were Shrey Harrynarain, Vino Haribhai, Elias Mageza and Dr Mheni.

Thank you to the Moths for choosing the golf club to host their competition.

The Estcourt Golf Club League team that won another Midlands League title.

On a club level, the Estcourt Golf Club League team achieved yet another Midlands League title by beating their closest challengers, Boschoek, with a score of 14-2, thus ending with an overall points tally of 13. Well done to every league player who played their part in this magnificent success.
