Vryheid’s local Comrades Marathon runners are hard at work preparing in the final stretch leading up to the event on August 28. On August 20, these runners will have their last Saturday morning run from the Engen Garage (outside of town) at 05:30. Everyone is invited to join and support them on their last run before the Comrades. Contact Johan Coetzee on 083 564 4812 should you need more information or a ride to the garage.
Supporters can follow the 12 Vryheid Athletic Club runners on their journey by downloading the Comrades Application and entering their ‘bib’ number:
