Clash on the soccer field

Local soccer teams are into the second week of the Work and Play Tournament.

Teams, which are mainly made up of employees in government departments meet every Wednesday at various grounds to kick off their matches.

The aim of the Work and Play Tournament is to encourage a healthy lifestyle and boost camaraderie among employees.

Last Wednesday the action was on at Wembezi Stadium, Lambert Park and Estcourt Secondary School.

Players took to the field with enthusiasm, amid an air of competitiveness.
