Charity cyclists conquer Amashova challenge

This year, competitors started and finished at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Charity cyclists, the Derailer MTBers have conquered the Amashova challenge.

The trio said they were ecstatic after completing the annual Amashova Durban Classic, which took place on October 24.

MTBer, Craig Pedersen confirmed the course was adjusted at the last minute due to Covid-19 and other issues.

“The standard route is frequently the same as the Comrades Marathon. This year though, we started and completed at the Moses Mabhida Stadium,” Pedersen explained.

Pedersen confirmed that members, Christopher Ewart and Drikus Ferreira cycled alongside him to represent the MTBers this year.

“The remaining two members were unable to compete due to work commitments,” explained Pedersen.
