‘Champs’ crowned at prestigious Newcastle golf day

Hole in one prizes included an Isuzu bakkie, a Honda WR-V and R150 000 in cash.

A number of local golf ‘champs’ were crowned at a prestigious golf day in Newcastle this past weekend.

The Champ Group, NTT, Isuzu, and Honda sponsored golf day boasted fantastic prizes up for grabs.

This took place at the Newcastle Golf Club on November 6.

The competition followed the ‘Better Ball Alliance’ format and had a shotgun start.

Hole in one prizes included an Isuzu bakkie, a Honda WR-V and R150 000 in cash.

However, none of the competitors were able to bag these amazing prizes.

Local golfers Themba Ntuli and Mandla Nkosi were still pretty chuffed with the fully-paid holiday on a luxurious golf estate, which they won for taking first place in the competition.
