NEWCASTLE KZN: Silver championship finish for Zaakira Khan
After three gruelling legs of dirt circuit racing, Zaakira secured second place in her division.
Newcastle racer, Zaakira Khan claimed second place in the stockrod division, following the final leg of the 4Province Dirt Showdown at the end of October.
“This is a huge achievement for me, especially racing against tough competition and drivers from all different regions.”
Zaakira played to her strengths during all three legs of the national championship, and has now set her sights on winning a South African dirt circuit title.
Local racers are currently resting, resetting, and repairing their vehicles ahead of an Oval Track race meeting in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more details of this event.
