Mr and Miss Rose of Sharon were proudly crowned recently
Finally, the day had arrived… After weeks of practice and deciding on the perfect outfit, Rose of Sharon preschool and primary school hosted their Mr and Miss Rose of Sharon competition.

On September 7, the Methodist Church Hall was packed with parents, siblings and grandparents all cheering on their little models.
The learners took to the runway in swimwear then formal wear, as they each tried to outdo the other in impressing the judges with their struts, dance moves and fancy poses.
After the judges had calculated the scores, the contestants who survived the tough knockout round walked away with the crown, the title and cool prizes.
The purpose was to have family fun and also develop modeling skills while winning was just a bonus.
The school would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors who played a part in making the day a memorable one.
