Women in business were honoured at a breakfast function on August 5 at Tramonto Boutique Hotel.
The day highlighted the integral role women play in business, particularly in empowering self-employed women.
Chipo Matambo was the guest speaker for the day, and her motivational speech and encouraging words left women awe-struck and enlightened.
Matambo, who is a female entrepreneur herself, shared her experiences and coping mechanisms when it came to survival in the typically male-dominated business world, as well as everyday life challenges faced by women.
The morning concluded with a well-deserved breakfast buffet, and women had the opportunity to network and socialise.
Gift bags were handed out to each women containing special gifts for the recipients to enjoy, all sponsored by the various businesses they own.
