SANBS winter promotion is a good boost for blood stocks
Visit the Newcastle Donor Centre at the Newcastle Mall today, and save a life by donating blood.
In an attempt to bolster blood stocks, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) hosted a Winter Promotion at the Village Walk Mall on July 4.
As part of the promotion, blood donors received tokens of appreciation.
Many first time donors, although anxious, made the decision to give the gift of life and were rewarded for their selflessness.
The day was celebrated in conjunction with the Newcastle Community Radio!
Remember, to donate blood, you must:
Be 16 years old or older,
Weigh 50 kgs or more,
Lead a sexually safe lifestyle
Snack, or eat before you donate.
