While ensuring Newcastillians were able to stock up on their Christmas presents for loved ones, the market day also generated funds for St Martin's Village.

Christmas is approaching at a rapid rate, with three weeks left until the big day.

Setting the pace for a Merry Christmas filled with festive cheer, the Evangelical Lutheran Church hosted its third annual Christmas Market this past Saturday.

With home-made crafts and food, as well as a jolly mood prevailing, the damp weather conditions were forgotten as the people enjoyed the fun-filled market experience.
