NEWCASTLE – The Pop Mabhodlela event took place at Ekhaya Lounge on Saturday, September 3.
Music lovers and hip hop culture followers came out in their numbers to support local hip hop and indie musicians who showcased their talents.

“We would like to say thank you to all the people who came through to come support local acts. The turnout was great, considering this was only the second event of this nature that we’ve hosted in Newcastle,” said Pop Mabhodlela event organiser, Tumagole Ramokoka.

This event takes place at the same venue on the last Saturday of every month.
