88 donors attended, 77 pints of blood were donated of which three were new donors

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) and Blood Donor Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain hosted a monthly blood clinic.
Blood donors made a stop at the town hall on Thursday, May 11 between 11am and 6pm to donate a pint of lifesaving plasma.

SANBS staff noticed a drop in the amount of donors coming to make donations and would like to encourage the public to donate blood. Locals braved the cold and bled for a worthy cause. 88 donors attended, 77 pints of blood were donated of which three were new donors.

The SANBS and Blood Donor Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank all attendees for their support and time taken to donate blood for those who are in need.
